Black Tunic: This tunic was actually part of the storyline at one point and was later removed. It is unknown if it used to have any effects... if it did, it doesn't now.

White Tunic: I believe that either this tunic or the black tunic was supposed to have been a gift from Link's father at one point of the storyline... the information was posted on Abstrusness of Hyrule (now dead), so I'm unsure anymore.
