The most legendary, sought-after code in the history of Zelda has finally been revealed!  Currently it's only for version 1.0 (Japan/U.S.), but we will work on translating this code to other versions as time goes on.

WARNING: Use of these codes may cause game instability and/or crashes.  We cannot be held responsible if you lose any saved data while using these codes.

  1. Start the game as usual.  Hit Start on the title screen and when it fades out, Map Select will appear. Note for emulators: Rice's plugin doesn't show Map Select properly, so try using Jabo's Plugin instead.
  2. Press C-Right to turn on the interface (you won't see anything happen yet).  Now use the D-Pad to scroll through the various levels (B changes your age, Z and R change the version of the level you load, C-Up and C-Down change OPT which has no perceivable effect).
  3. Press A to select a level to load.  Note that the N64DD levels will refuse to work.
  4. Once the level has loaded, you can play as long as you want.  Once you want to return to Map Select, press R and exit the area or die and continue (Sun Song might work too).
