but you can talk to Malon! This is the environment for the cutscene
where Link learns Epona's Song and the owl flies overhead. Makes
you wonder...

You'll arrive in the Deku Tree's Grove. Go inside the Twin's house
(closest house to the Deku Tree except for the store).
You're there! Run into the pasture and you'll find Malon, the owl,
and Epona!
